Behaviour


Students are expected to behave sensibly and in a way that does not present a barrier to their own learning or the learning of others,


Lasting will introduce whatever behaviour strategies, rewards and sanctions that are necessary in order to ensure that all students are able to learn successfully


Where behaviour interferes with anyone's learning parents will be informed.


Lasting reserves the right to withdraw tuition from any student they feel is disrupting the learning of others or is intent on resisting the learning process for themselves.


Bullying and harassment will not be tolerated.


Students are expected to alert their tutor to any problems as soon as possible. Parents are also expected to do the same.


Attendance


•Students are expected to attend regularly so as to ensure that tuition can lead to the improvement in the skills, understanding and confidence that parents seek.


•Parents undertake to inform the Lasting Learning Centre as soon as possible of any non-attendance by text to 07914 003579 and no later than 24 hours prior to the time of the session.


•Should notification occur less than 24 hours before the session Lasting will charge for the first hour.


•The late notice charge may be waived in exceptional circumstances entirely at the discretion of the directors of Lasting Education Limited


•Where attendance has become erratic or falls below 70%, Lasting reserve the right to request payment for each term in advance or to discontinue tuition and give the place to a student on the waiting list.


Payment


Payment will be made on the day or in advance.


Payment may be made in cash, by cheque (payable to Lasting Education Limited) via PayPal from the Payments page of this website or directly by bank transfer to Lasting Education Limited Sort Code 09-01-28 Account number 72075594


Late payments will be followed up and maybe subject to a late payment charge of £10.


Charges for late notice or no notice of non-attendance must be paid within 5 working days.


Where a parent has paid in advance Lasting will endeavour to notify that parent when the pre-payment period is coming to an end of has ended however it remains the parent's responsibility to ensure that payments are upto date.


Payments in cash or by cheque should only be handed to Steve or Donella McGill and should not be given directly to other tutors.


Achievement and Attainment


Whilst Lasting and its tutors will do everything they can within the tutoring sessions to support students in progressing in their learning and achieving the grades they are targeting the ccompany, it's directors and it's tutors cannot be held responsible for occasions when pupils fail to meet their parents or schools expectations.
